Electric Venetian Blinds

Electric Venetian Blinds have the enviable position of being able to tilt their slats to allow different amounts of light into a room as well as raise completely up and out of the way.

Venetian Blinds have been around for many many years and they are as popular today as ever, they offer flexible shading options where most blinds are either up or down, you can tilt your slats upwards or downwards depending on the amount and type of light you want entering your room. So today you can now have Electric Venetian Blinds, these really are the most fun electric blind to play with, we supply a remote control with a scroll wheel that means you can alter the slant of the slats by single increments, you can then push the up button and watch the slats start to stack at the top of the window and if it’s a Wooden Electric Venetian Blind you get this satisfying click click click as the slats sit neatly underneath each other.

Most Electric Venetian Blinds are 240v this is because they tend to be quite heavy and this is the most reliable form of motorisation, you can get battery operated versions but these only tilt the slats and can only be used on aluminium blinds that are much lighter than timber.

So with Electric Venetian Blinds you have a choice of finish, you can choose Timber or Aluminium, the timber blinds are the most popular and come in a choice of stained and painted colours, you can also choose different slat sizes to really personalise the blinds to your own particular tastes, you can even have tapes attaching the slats and not strings again adding a different level of finish. The aluminium blinds do come in wider widths and in the right room can even look kitsch, with the right artwork on the walls a splash of bright colour over your windows might just be the final dressing the room needs.
